Sure, you think social media is useful, but like many small business owners, you may be thinking, “yeah, it works for Doritos and Toyota, but what will social media do for me?”
Well, if that’s the case, we’ve got great news coming your way. A 2011 Social Media Marketing Industry Report this week showed that small business owners see the largest results from social media marketing.
Sales, Sales, Sales
Among the benefits small businesses are seeing from social media is an increase of exposure for their company. This group also reported more new partnerships and a greater number of qualified leads than their large business counterparts.
And since it’s all about the sales, think on this; 48 percent of small business owners saw increased sales as a direct result of their social media efforts – all while reducing their overall marketing costs.
Who needs to be Doritos now?
