We know you want to encourage more traffic to your website; our tips will help you generate traffic quickly.

If you’re like a lot of business owners, you likely depend on your site to market your business, offer product and service information and notify your customers of current events or promotions. But is your website also attracting new customers? If not, it may be time for you to start employing tactics to drive more traffic to your website.

Five Easy Ways to Get More Traffic to Your Website:

  1. Update, update, update: To rank higher in web searches, you need to be generating content on a regular basis. In today’s world, consumers are much more resourceful when it comes to learning and researching online. That’s why you should be offering relevant, useful content that teaches your customer something or helps them accomplish something. When your content is posted 2 or 3 times a week, you’ll begin to rank higher in web searches.
  2. Offer a “sign-up” service: Many of your customers (and potential customers) may be online searching for coupons or promotions for your products and services. Offer your customers a regular newsletter that highlights current promotions or discounts. Then install a widget on your site to allow customers to sign up for this. Not only will they be more engaged, but you’ll also get valuable lead information.
  3. Get social: Setting up social media business pages is an excellent way to get more eyeballs on your site. Your Facebook posts, Tweets, Instagram pics or even your Pinterest pins can link to your website and draw in more customers. Plus, social media encourages audience participation, so you’ll be able to engage with your clients directly.
  4. Ask for reviews: Popular rating sites like Yelp and Google allow patrons and customers to rate businesses and write reviews. You can increase your search engine rankings by encouraging customers to review your business. Offer a discount or promo in exchange for a review, or post a link to your Yelp or Google place pages to encourage participation.
