Employees can be an excellent way to promote your brand online. Even if you are a small business with only 5 to 10 employees, each of those employees probably has a Facebook account with several hundred friends. Great place to get the ball rolling, but it might not be so ideal if your employees aren’t positive about your brand. Many companies have encountered serious problems with employees and their conversations online, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Here are a few tips that will help improve how employees will portray your brand online.

Get Employees to Speak Up

  1. Don’t issue too many orders
  2. Give employees resources
  3. Give your internal “fans” a voice online
  4. Let your employees shape the brand
