social media tips

So you’re ready to get social but you’re not sure what to post? We get it; it can be a little intimidating when you plunge into the social scene. But your business has a whole lot to gain by conversing with customers (and soon-to-be customers) online; not only will you gain brand exposure, but you’ll never find a more economical way to get some super effective marketing.

Ready to post? Here are a few ideas for killer content:

Focus on people

Got an employee of the month? How about a newbie to the team? Las Vegas social media is all about bringing people together, so it’s the perfect medium to share a bit about the people that make your business great. Knowing there are real humans behind your business can score you some new fans and customers.

Quotes

Pressed for time and you don’t have a lot to say? An inspirational, funny or thought-provoking quote can go a long way, and often get shared by others. Just make sure you’re not posting a quote that’s offensive or sure to incite controversy (unless that’s what you’re after).

Polls and surveys

People love to post about, well, themselves. Asking a poll or survey question can be a great way to get people talking. And if you’re smart, you can use the answers you get for further Las Vegas marketing initiatives.

Found a killer post by another (noncompeting) company or organization? Share it on your page! It’s a great way to build goodwill while giving your own fans and followers some cool information.

New product photos

While you don’t always want to be pimping your brand on Las Vegas social media, giving “sneak peeks” and “behind-the-scenes looks” at new or revamped products can make your friends, fans and followers feel like they’re in the inner circle. Plus, it will build excitement for that awesome product.

If you’ve got a product or service which provides a use that’s backed up by data of some sort, share it! If the case study is super dense though, also provide a synopsis within the post.

Reviews and recommendations

Reviewing and recommending affiliated products can be useful info for your customers. For example, if you’re in the peanut butter business, recommend your favorite jams and breads.
